After setting up user permissions and user-defined fields (UDFs), use the Illinois System Settings Maintenance page to map wages (hours codes), deductions and benefits to the appropriate types.

The General tab contains the default Employer Account Number.
When you run the retirement report, any employee whose IL Retirement Employer Number field in Workforce Administration is blank or contains this number displays in the report and transmittal. The account number also displays in the transmittal.
Note: The selection of a different account number on the Print Illinois Retirement Report dialog overrides this one.

The Wages tab contains a grid of all available hours codes. Map applicable codes in the left column to the appropriate types in the right column, clicking Save after each selection.
Available types are Regular and Overtime.
Note: Wage types come from validation set 659 (Illinois Retirement Wage Type), which comes pre-loaded with patch 2022.1.2. To view or update this validation set, hold down the CTRL key and click in the Type cell, or navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > System > Validation Sets > Validation Set List.

The Deductions tab contains a grid of all available employee deduction codes. Map applicable codes in the left column to the appropriate contribution types in the middle column, clicking Save after each selection.
Available types are Regular and Voluntary Additional.
Note: Contribution types come from validation set 660 (Illinois Retirement Contribution Type), which comes pre-loaded with patch 2022.1.2. To view or update this validation set, hold down the CTRL key and click in the Type cell, or navigate to Maintenance > new world ERP Suite > System > Validation Sets > Validation Set List.
Use the right column, Deducted From Wage, to identify deduction codes that reduce the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) reportable wages.
To identify a code, double-click in the corresponding Deducted From Wage cell, select True from the dropdown and click Save.

The Benefits tab contains a grid of all available employer benefit codes. Map applicable codes in the left column to the appropriate contribution types in the right column, clicking Save after each selection.
